to his eccellency Governor Yates

Dear Sir

After my respects to you I would respectfully say to you that I have five sons in the service of the Federal Government there is two in 94th Illinois Regiment of Volunteers two in the 1rst Missouri Cavelry Missouri State Militia one of then wounded and made a cripple for life and one more in the 12th Missouri Cavelry now Sir I would respectfully request that you would grant one of them a discharge he is in the 94 Illinois his name is Isaac Fuller company G stationed at Brownsville Texes he has lost his health since he went south and it is thought by his physicians that he would gain his health if he could come North again


I am getting old and have lost my health and am left entirely without help and if he could come home and gain his health it would be a great benefit both to him and me he has been in the service two years the 9th of last August for the above request your petitioner will ever pray
