Gov: Yates I would respecfully request that my date of muster or my Discription Roll be forwarded to me. as my time exspired the 10th day of last month (Aug) I was transfered from Co C 42 Regt Ill vol Infy on the first day of February 1863. I have recd no pay since that time nor can I be mustered out now my time has exspired. My Roll has been ordered Officially several times, But as I can here nothing from it. I thought propper to report it to Your Excelency.

He was transferred from Co. "C" 42 Regt Ill Vols to 11th Regt Vet. Res. Corp on the 1st Day of February 1863 since which time he has received no pay. He wants his muster as descriptive roll forwarded to him--as also does James Feely of same Co & Regt
