Yours of the 12th relating to the transfer of Elias Yates Co A 100 Ills Vols to Keokuk and Jas Crawford I. 103d Ills to Chicago Ills are before me

These men will be so transferred within a few days, or as soon as those Hospital can take the number of patients now in this Hospital to be transferred to those places.

I have now over five hundred patients in this Hospital. Mostly from Shermans Army.

These soldiers yesterday voted 450 for Lincoln & 27 for McClellan
