During my Fathers absence I attend to his correspondence, and have taken pains to find the following directions required in yours of the 20th, inst.
Capt. McCormack, Madison, Wis. Lieut, Hasler, Louisiana, Pike Co. Mo.
Lieut Ferguson's directions may be found from Lieut Hasler. That these brave men deserve Their Commissions before The month will Elapse When my Father will return is my reason for sending These directions
