But as We are and all ways have been uncompromisingly for the union - We cannot turn a Deaf year to What is Said in our presants - this morning Mr N D Burgess A Sergt in Co D 110th Ills Swore on the Streets that Lincoln could not carry Illinois for All the Volunteers Ware for McCllen this done and Said in the presents of Copperheads this Same man is Expecting A commition at your hands We would be pleased to Know all Such men Wore South
