Sir:

It has been determined by the patriotic people of this

State to celebrate the coming Fourth of July at the Tippecanoe

Battle Ground, Indiana, in a manner worth of the Day

and the Place. Our people are earnest, and intend making this

a grand and glorious occasion, commemorating as well the Day

as the accomplish work of our triumphantly returning

armies. You are respectfully invited to be present.
