Dear Governor (Confidential)
I am just informed from a reliable source that Holyoke is for you for Senator. I have sent several men to him knowing that it was not but for me to see him but I now find that I can talk to him upon the subject. I will see him soon about it. Heretofore although I have met him several times I have not desired to speak upon the subject.
