Dear Sir.

Referring to your acceptance of an invitation from the Lincoln & Oglesby Club to address one of their public meetings some time this month or before election. I am requested by this Club to ask you whether Thursday the 27th inst. or Thursday Nov. 3d will be agreeable to you. We have engaged Bryan Hall for those evenings and can only have it on Thursdays. Will you be kind enough to let us know at as early a day as possible whether we can rely upon your being with us on one of the above evenings delegating which one of them. We trust that nothing

will prevent your comepliance.
