Fulton, Nov. 20th 64 Governor Richard Yates Dear Sir,

Have your from 22 inst. also package of speeches which shall be distributed. Permit me to congratulate you in return, on our glorious victory not only the national, but of this state. Your visit to this county did us much good. Your talk to the democrats had its intended effect--at least two hundred democrats in this part of this county went quietly to the polls and voted the Union ticket.
