Dear Gov.

Yours recd. in reply, I will say I not only will see, but have seen all our Resps & many others & they are all orthodox. I have already urged all the points you suggest & many others & shall keep urging them, I have no fear of your defeat I dont believe it possible. Gov. dont rely too much upon Cook. He will disappoint you I fear Sooner or later. Watch for him, I know him. You dont, but he is a Palmer man Mind this, You need have no fears for me. Not a word will be droped banish all fear from your mind on this point & think of yourself & never mind me. I have talked with boys in Bureau, Woodford, Kendall DeKalb Will, Henry & others. I dont think they can be moved. I hope to see you soon
