Being desirous of haveing my command removed from Camp Butler to some more healthy location, and one more central to my field of recruiting operations would respectfully suggest the fairground at Carlinville Macoupin County, if consistent with the interest of the service, But will most cheerfully go wherever your Excellency may direct
