I recd your recommendation for examination by the Medical board & I have just recd the enclosed from Dr [Ludlum?] of Chicago.

I would not trouble you knowing you are Bored almost to death with Such But we have raised two companies here in this Little place under the last call & two under the first, & feel as though [an?]

unjustness is being done by the Medical Board

3/4th of these comapany have employed me or some other Homepath & feel as though could not be under old school treatment again & if you feel disposed to do any thing in this matter we would be under great obligations to you
