Sir Mr Yates Govener of the state of Illinois to your honor we ask and pettion to your honor to grant us a pass from here to Corinth Miss and jackson tennisee as I have a son at each plase one is sick and the other is wounded and I want to go and take care of them a month or so and and thake a good many things down to the soldiers that the fiend have fixed for them and as our means are very limited we ask your honor to grant us a free pass in be half of the sick and wounde soldiers
