His Excellency
Richd. Yates
Govr. of Ill.
I add this as a private Supplement to my communication, upon the same subject of this date.
Unless the public authorities select some other spot, in Oak Ridge Cemetery, I request that Col. Stewart's remains, may be interred on the lot adjoining, west of, and on the same street, as one owned by me, in the same cemetery. Mr Willis the Sexton, will identify the lot, as I requested him to reserve it, as an addition to the lot owned by me.
Herewith you will find, a bland check, the proceeds of which, you will please cause to be applied, for payment for the lot. Please fill up the check with the sum required for that purpose.
Respectfully
Your Obdt Servt
