Dr Sir
Dr S F. Eleance of our place is willing to go as surgeon to some of our new Regiments and says it requires an order from you to go before the Medical Board for Examination Dr Eleance has resided with us some six years and stands well as an intelligent sober and excellent man and has had as large a practice as any of our Phisicians I think he would make a good Surgeon for our men
