Dr Sir.

Will you oblige one of your best friends by giving your Earliest attention to the matter I spoke to you about i.e. the claim allowed Sheeny that is represented by his atty in fact Genl Stewart. I am interested in the Claim myself. You Stated that you only wished Id get the indorsment of Conklin, & then all would be right & you would give me the order for payment under the law.

May I respectfully ask for answer as soon as convenient
