This will be handed you by Michael R Good Esqr. of New Boston Mercer Co. who is an applicant for the Office of Provost Marshall in his district he has with him the best of recommendations and I would respectfully ask you to aid Mr Good in procuring the appointment believing that he will make an efficient officer.
