Sir: I am directed by His Excellency Governor Yates to inform you that arrangements have been made for a public reception of all the three years regiments and detatchments recently returned upon expiration of service and on Veteran furlough.

You are respectfully requested to communicate the invitation to your command to particapate on the occasion and to move with other regiments also specially invited

in compliance with directions to be communicated through Brigadier General Julius White U.S. Vols. Commanding Draft Rendezvous and Camps at this Post.

The Reception ceremonials and Picnic Dinner will take place at "Wrights Grove" near this City, at twelve o'clock Tuesday 7th Inst, and the troops will be expected to report at ten o'clock and thirty minutes tomorrow morning.
