Mat Stacy Esqr
Presdt Bd Trustees of Ins for the Blind
Dear sir,
I have just received your notification of the meeting of the Board of Trustees, "on Wednesday afternoon" Today I suppose.
Some time last winter or spring I was informed by my friend Judge Thomas that he had named me for appointment as one of the Trustees to which I replied that I declined the office and supposed that some one else had been appointed. I have not given any further attention to the subject.
If any further is necessary Please advise the proper authority that I at the time declined the appointment and if it has been made that I now formally resign it that my place may be filed promptly if the interests of the Institution require it
Very Respectfully
Yours &C
