in a few days now i am here and i have med 3 or 4 aplication to be sent to my oun stad bud i ant get it don now i dond claim no mor these wath is rid and Just to my self and famly and the best good for my contry for if i was and allso the rest of the wounded and sick wer in ther oan stead we all wold be ebel to go to the front in half the tim we will be so ter for for in sebe of you meny ta and the good of the cause i wold pray your Acselanse to have me trens ferd to camp Butler or sent
home on a forlow on tell i ame able to discharch my dewty as a solder in the field i tryd to day to be transferd bud the say ther is to be no mor trensferd so i thouth i wold writh to you as a solshers fraind to see wath cood be donn ther ar only a few illinois men here
