Governor Yates, We the undersigned Ill. Soldiers are in the Hospital at Evansville, Ind. and would like to be in our own State untille such time as the Sergeon may pronounce us fit for duty. We make this request because the most of us are Old Soldiers and would like to be where we could see Our Friends as we have been away from home for two and three years. With much respect we are your Soldiers.
