I a Pri Soldier of Co C. 33rd Regt Ill Vet. Vol. Inft. have been Afflicted with Erisipalus so as to disqualify me for duty as a Soldier I Appeal to your Excellency for a position in one of the Regiments now Organising in the State if it may meet your Approval I have Served Since Aug 19th 1861. Reenlisted Jan 1st 64 Since then I have been afflicted I leave this for your consideration
