Richard Yates Gov of Ills

Sir I have the honor to respectfully Tender my servises again. I have Served 3 yrs. in the 18th Ills as an enlisted man and 100 Days as an officer and will only ask to be appointed recruiting officer for some Portion or all of the district of west Kentucky I have no refferences Save my own record I could produce the approval of all the officers of my Regiments or both Regs. I have served in but will risk this as Sufficient for an appointment of this kind.
