authorities to get me transferd to

Chicago that being nearer my

place of residence. I have been

Suffering for the past eight mon

ths with the Dropsey and entirely

unable for duty and the Sergeons

of this hospital have given up my

case as far as making me fit for the

field. Please oblige me in this request

and for your honor and the well-

fare of my government I will ever

pray.
