Dear Sir
I understand that there is going to be many
changes in regard to Mail or Rout Agents on
different Rail Roads through out the state and
as I have a knowledge of the buisness I would
like to ask you to assist me in getting an
appointment on some of the following Roads viz
Chicago Alton and St Louis Tere Haute Alton and
St Louis Toledo Wabash and Western on the Chicago
Burlington and Quincy if you will try and assit
me in getting an appointment I will try
and discharge my duties to the satisfaction of
all connected with the Department I am at present
clerking in the Provost Marshal's Office but no
permenant situation hoping you will assist me
in this matter as soon as you can conveniantly
