mr yates i now take my pen in hand to inform you how i am left i am left alone without too litel children and i hant got no frends too take care of me and i am sick my self and have ben for six months and i am sufering for want my oldest child has ben sick about aight months and his sickess has fell in his bines and kripled him and iam not abel too take care of my self nor my litel children and i want you to let my husben come home to take care of me and my Deer litel children if you peles for if you dont send him to take care of us we will paresh for want of his help and i think you i will be so kind as to let him come home to take care of his famely when thait saeren i would never no by when i had thanked you enef for doing so o pra send hime home as sane as you can for i hant got no money to get eny thing tlive on nor no won to give me eny thing we had to work for ever thing that we had by days works so you no i hadent eny thing left to live on and he hant never mad but one sence he left home / and that was not much when i had nothing els to live on but in think that you will be so kind as to let my Deer companion come home to take care of me o my god if you dont let him come home i dont no what i will do i am so nerves that i cant foller a line to save my life y i want you to remember me and my litel children marinda L york wife of of calob wesley york this to mr richard yats
