Genl Fuller telagraph me the order for Raising State Guards is countermanded. I do not see what new Lights have bin discoverd by the Sect Wore. the traitors are as bad in Ills as they wase when the order was Ishued, but working more quidlety, thare is no doubt but the conscripte will be resisted in maney of the Southren Countyes, I know of five companeys organised and armed. the reble had a meeting at Haris Burgh the other day about five thousand presante, also one in White Co, about 2000 presante

I was at both, we have bin trying to get up union meetings in differante countys but made a compliate figle - Troops will have to be sente to Southeran Ills in thiry days or Sooner you are going to have trouble in the State. I am on my way to Memphis, on my return, I am going to look for som countey whare thare is no Democrats and thare move a little Democrat means a little Traitor a big Democrat means a big traitor Stanton seemes ot to understand the magnitude of this organisation of the traitors Mr Lincoln Sis he has the rebellion by the throte for the firste time, time will tell, but three years will not winde up the wore

Has received the despatch countermanding the order for State troops - says traitors are as bad as when the order was issued but working more quietly - says there is no doubt but the conscript will be resisted - troops will have to be sent to Ills within thirty days - he is going to Memphis is hunting a home where there is no democrats.
