This in regard to our meeting is at hand for which please accept my thanks.

Will you arrange the time of the meeting to best suit your own convenience and if possible so that Genl O may be with you.

Our Senatorial convention has been holden and Alfred Webster of Rock Island is the nominee.

Mr W. stands opposed to Judge Wilkinson, so that he must not be approached in that channel but, I am confident that he is all right on the Senatorship

Our nominees therefore are

For Representative M.M. Ford of Galva Henry Co

For State Senator Alfred Webster of Rock Island.
