Enclosed I hand you a letter to Gov Yates, from Mr Bergen in relation to an appointment in the Commisarys department which I wish you would take the trouble to present to him and see if I can get the appointment. I would like to know what can be done immediately. If thare is no chance in that department is the forces raised in this State I wish to apply to the war department at once. With respect I remain
