Sir I wish to inform you that when the Loyal Sitizens of this County met at Lacon on the 20 inst. for the purpose of raising volunteers, and organising a company, in Obedience to your call, that, Colonel John Strawn of this County refused to take any part in it, but said the cause did not sute him, in view of those things, I would request that you Revoke his commission, and Commission Some man here that is willing to doe Something for his Country. in this time of Perile Your Obt Servt
