Sir

     Brig Gen Van Allen Comdr at Murfreesboro directs me to return your communication of the 22nd (month?) with the accompanying papers.  By reference to the enclosed surgeons certificate it will be observed that the physical condition of this soldier does not warrant an application for furlough based on disability.
