Jack Miller} Why do you not answer my letters?

     Have just returned from Galena where we had a large meeting. Also at Freeport.  (illegible) was at both places. The Freeport people want you to speak at Freeport on the evening of the 5th Oct on your way to Galena & the Galena people suggested that you speak at Warren in Davis Co on the after-noon of the 6th & at Galena in the evening of the same day.  Do so if you can, but do nothing to interfere with your appointment here on the 9th Oct as we are making arrangements for that day.

   Are you expecting any thing of me after the 9th?
