To Gov. R. Yates

Springfield Ills

Sir:

Is there any effort being made to get the Ill. Soldiers who are now in Hospital furloughed home to vote at the November Election?

I have about one hundred & fifty whom I would like to send home for that purpose - a furlough say of ten or fifteen days would be sufficient.

Very Respectfully
