I have not accomplished any thing yet. Mr Lussanton is not heare, I will remain heare till he comes.
I have had a talk with M B. Brown he is stronge for Washborn, and sais W. is a canadte for the Sennett he just recived a letter from him, he Sais thare is a plan fixed uppon by which Gov Yates is to be defeated for the Sennett Washborn Powell Slow & Brown was to meet at Galenia next
weak, that meetinge is postponed I have got all out of Brown I can about the matter, and have come to the conclusion thare will be a efforte made by Washborns friends and Genl (Tannors?) friends, to defeat you, have your friend to go to work and arange with all the members north of the O, Miss R. R., I will take, a [train?] through the Southran Countyes as soon as I get home
