Our prospects I think are good for carrying this county we lacked 36 votes of carrying the county last April in the Election of Supervisor
and if we can go on making these gains we have done we shall certainly carry the county for we have made a gradual gain from 489 in 1860 to 36 in 1864 and I can count changes since then to carry the county We are makeing great efforts in this county we have established a Printing Press the first no will be issued this week we do this to counter act the influence of a copper head paper issued here. If you can do anything for us in this county by way of [documenting?] speech makers or in any other way it will be thankfully recd and [place?] your credit in the great Union effort in this election. don't neglect our humble servant if you send documents
Your Friend in the strong union hope
